Text Mode in F-51852 LCD Hi,
I'd like to know, if the F-51852 Display Controller has its own fonts?
I mean, if I can use it as a character LCD.
Thanks
Regards

The OPTREX F-51852 module does not have an on-board character generator. The integrated NJU6676 controller/driver capable to display graphics or characters. Compared to other controllers like the Toshiba T6963C, the F-51852 has a limited amount of instructions. However, it is quite easy to interface and program.
For F-51852 Series LCDs we offer an intelligent TC553/852 controller with an integrated touch screen control, built-in fonts, etc. For more information please visit http://www.tvielectronics.com/Products/TC553-852_Controller.html .
