Interfacing with an F-51320 Display

I just bought a TC553/852 controller, and I was wondering if it would work on an F-51320 display. I know it was designed for the F-51553 and the F-51852, but I don't have any of those around at this exact moment and I wanted to test the board. I hooked up a 51320 display and I am able to toggle the back light off and on using the Control Panel program, but nothing else works. I was wondering if I had it hooked up incorrectly, if my eval board was damaged, or if nothing will display because it has a different command/pin set (or is incompatible in some other way).

I tried Control panel version 2.0.3 (the one on the cd) and 2.0.4 (the one from the website).

The TC553/852 controller was designed to support either Optrex F-51553 or F-51852 LCDs. It can't support F-51320 LCD because of a different layout of the display's connector.
