Touch Screens
The touchscreen is the face of a touchsystem, an input device and the user's first contact point with the system. It's the most user friendly way to communicate with the computer. Its importance cannot be overstated, since it defines the quality and tactile feel of the touch system, and offers the only user interface. The user touches the screen to select options presented on the screen. Associated hardware and software are used to determine the location of the press. Key functional properties of the touchscreen are its optical transparency, its hardiness to wear and tear, and its touch accuracy. Because of its convenience, touch screen technology solutions have been applied more and more to industries, applications, products and services, such as Kiosks, POS (Point-of-Sale), consumer electronics, tablet PC, moderate to harsh Machine Control, Process Control, System Control/Office Automation and Car PC, etc.
